Product Description
An absolute must for your pantry! The French town of Orleans has been the heart of the vinegar industry since the Middle Ages, and gave its name to a unique fabrication method, the Orleans process. Martin Pouret begins with only the best wines, and allows for a slow fermentation (3 weeks in large oak barrels) for them to naturally convert their alcohol into vinegar. The vinegar is then aged in small oak barrels for one year, allowing the vinegar to mature into a softer, fruiter, yet more intense vinegar, which retains many of the original aromas and characteristics of the wines used to create it. Use in everything - dressings, marinades, glazes and sauces.
